Made it to Slovenia

           On our way to the Murano glass time share pitch where you buy or swim back to Venice!

Happy to make it out of Murano with my wallet intact.  A glass flower garden on Murano.  We decided to head out to Borona Island on the recommendation of our personal shopper.  We had a 72 hour pass on the 'busses' so why not?  (I'm not falling over, Pam the photographer was listing.)

Borano Island at rush hour.  Had a nice leisurely lunch and explored a little before an hour ride back to Venice.

Hard to believe that Italy's economy is suffering.  Back in Venice.

We got up at 6, packed and went to the main hotel for breakfast at 7:30.  Two blocks to the 'bus', a 20 minute ride to the train station, two hours to Treiste, then a 45 minute ride to Portoroz, Slovenia.

 Pretty nice room/ bathroom with a great view.

We will get by somehow!  Hope all is well with everyone.  Glad Melissa, Jason, Jack, and Mags made it safe to New York!!!!
